Hey, this is Chris Hotton and I'm recording this for my AI assistant to learn what my voice sounds like. Today is Saturday. It's May 16th. It's really rainy outside today and I need to get to mow in the grass.
But I can't do that today, so I'll probably just work on some of my business stuff and then possibly fix my car. The kids seem to have hurt the truck while I was gone on vacation last week. This year has felt like one long sprint between businesses, that's Aspire Digital, the bowling lanes, the HOA board, the rental down in Florida, and somehow making time for Jamie, the kids, and a workout if I'm lucky.
The hardest part isn't the work itself. It's choosing which thing matters most on any given day. I'm hoping this little experiment with local transcription gives me back 20 minutes every day from a client meeting that I'd otherwise spend rewriting my own notes.
We'll see whether the wheels stay on. Either way, the river keeps running and I'd rather be on the boat than on the bank watching it go by.
